Rock Valley Kiwanis Club will sponsor this web site through
December 31, 2002. There is a pressing need during that period,
with the Afghan winter coming on, and we have an ambassador on the ground during
that period to focus our efforts. Here's what we'll do (and what you can
do):

| Why needed: some items can
be purchased in Afghanistan. For example, blankets,
mattresses, window panes and doors for the buildings which
house the children. |
Why needed: Some items,
although needed, are not available in Afghanistan. These
items, along with what has already been sent, are on our
